Title: Extracting with winrar
Post by: xTc the NJ GUIDO on May 24, 2005, 03:11:56 PM
Im trying to unpack a game that has 36 rar volumes. Now the game is in a folder with thse 36 rars, and when i track to extract the iso from any of the rar volumes, it says You need to start extraction from a previous volume to unpack the game,
The file is corrupt

Now is there a way i can burn the game from nero without actually extracting anything ?

You need to click on the file that actually ends in .rar.  If you try to click on one of the other segments like .r03 or something it won't work.  And yes, you need to extract the .iso from the .rar file before you burn the image.

Hmmm i went from rar00 to rar36 and tried extracting each one, and each volume is there. But it says the same crap.

Did you use quick sfv (http://www.quicksfv.org/index.html) first to ensure that all the files were there?
