I love the name Darby, it's a great name. Though, sadly, the first Darby that comes to mind is the mentally handicapped one from the movie The Ring.

You should find examples of famous and amazing men named Darby, there's got to be a few.

I don't know about men, but there's a famous women by he name "Darby Mills" of The Head Pins.
