What I have right now is 5700le, force me to turn off lots of staff, no spray, no dead bodies...and still lots lag when ppl got close and move fast..   

But which new one I should go?  6600 / 6600GT / 6800 / X700 / X800 or just 9800pro ?   Need ur opinion, guys...

well when the processor runs at 85 degrees celcius, im pretty sure its not optimized for performance, and all that heat it is putting into the case isnt that good for it either, the video card is just blowing hot air into its gpu. In the winter when i played with my windows opened, i got 100 fps in 1.6 all the time.

It gets cold here in jersey, i even hoped it would be below zero on somedays just to open my windows and play cs.  My computer makes so much heat, its not that cold, all i need is a fleece.

Diesoon,  go for the 6800.   You can pick one up for around 250 usd.  the 6800 has higher mem bandwidth, etc.  check out http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=92068  the 7800 is out, and is the best right now, but ATi is coming out with their trump card (lol) at the end of the summer.  Those high end card are really expensive.. ... ...

Ok, Cole, I heard about the 7800, but it's really 2 expensive for me.. wont rush to burn money for that hehe.. Where could I find the 6800 with the price u said? I have checked the local retail store, it cost at least CAD500...  USD250, no reason to buy any other card, hehe..

I got mine from my supplier in toronto... he gets me good deals cause I buy a lot of parts there and build computers... but try newegg or something
