I tried to get the servers populated yesterday and today - no go.

The lag makes it impossible to retain good players. Something needs to be done. I've heard rumors that its due to .wav files but I disabled sound download and it lags for EVERYONE.

Just letting those who don't know about it, know about it.

It's cause everyone has to download it. While you've got 12 people playing you've got another 12 just downlaoding the new wav file. Which causes lag.

I have removed the sound file from the 2 servers. It was lagging everyone so bad.  They have both been restarted now.

It still is lagging, but only when someone joins the sever. Everyone will get a lag hicup, then we'll see someone join the server. Any ideas what's going on there?

I was playing server #1 from 2:44am to 4:23am and didn't experience any lag.

What new .wav files would everyone have to dload?  Whatever they are they shouldn't cause much lag at all.  It has to be something else.

it was the heavymedic.wav file that Widow added that was 5 MB in size.  I got rid of the files and both servers filled up and there was no lag at all.

Yea GFH is right every time someone connected it spiked really bad...then it would do it radomly....it started after that file was uploaded, but i was on when it was removed and servers restarted and ti was fine untill yesterda around 5...the server was lagging bad again i had to quit....IDK what it is i thought we had it figured out but guess not...lol
