The beta for COD:WW has been released...sing up on callofduty.com and get your beta key, download and play! 1337 and I were playing it last night, it's pretty good...see you all there.
-
It won't frigging work on my computer. Ill try and get it done, but ill be reserving a copy pretty soon anyway. When is the actual release date?
-
November 11th.
Why won't it work on your computer?
-
If COD4 works this should to...I had to update DirectX to get it to work, as did many other people I have talked to. Try downloading and installing that, I bet it works.
-
I'm too used to DoD! The guns are WAY too accurate! :P
Also, the dogs are fucking annoying.
-
Alright, I re-installed it and updated my Direct X so it all works now. Hit me up when u are on.
-
Yea there was an update to dx 9 in august I think. Had to update mine too even if you run dx 10 and vista...
-
I like the game its alot of fun. I like it more than DOD, there is so much more to do with the perks and such. It seems like though the rushed the game out alittle as the graphics aren't as good on this as they were on COD4 modern warfare. But thats just me being picky. Overall I like it alot, would suggest it to anyone, an am most likely going to get it when it comes out.

I like the old COD color palletes being applied to an updated graphics engine. It might not be quite as realistic as COD4 but it's pretty close and conveys a gritty war-torn environment well I think. Still, it's pretty realistic looking and certainly better than DOD.
-
its much better than DOD, and I stand somewhat corrected from my previous statement. I had the resolution on something very shitty, but once I put it up to 1920x1200 everything was much better.
-
Wait - you were able to CHANGE the resolution?
Mine just hooked on to my current resolution, and I couldn't find an option to change it.
-
I changed my resolution and now it looks kick ass in 1680x1050 with all the settings cranked up. This game, without a doubt, looks awsome and the gameplay is just as good, playing loke COD4 but with different weapons. The basic engine is the same so if you liked COD4 and how it played you'll definately want to pick this one up if you like the WWII era games.
-
Anyone know how to display your FPS in COD4 or the new one?
-
In CoD 4 open the console (~) and type \cg_drawfps 1
I'm not sure the console works in the CoD5 beta
-
i give up.. whenever i can afford another computer...im gonna get this too... :(
