Not sure which forum to put this in hope i am in the right one. The wife got me a PS3 for Valentines Day. What are some good games I can get for it, any help would be appreciated?

I would suggest a few shooters, but we all know FPS's are meant to be played on a PC.  That being said, racing games are fun.  The new Midnight Club or NFS game should be entertaining.  MAG is the only fps I'm gonna play on PS3, but it's still in the beta phase I think.  Guitar Hero maybe?

Driving = Need For Speed Shift
2D Fighting = Street Fighter 4
For relaxing or the kids = Little Big Planet
FPS, wait til March. I played the PS3 version of Battlefield BC2 and it was damn near perfect. Also you can download the demo on PSN store in demo   section now but hurry, it ends feb 28.

The best all around game I've played on PS3 has to be Uncharted 2. Fantastic game, feels like a movie.

I heard MK vs DC sucked...I never played first hand though.

Are you guys getting BC2 for PC or console?

I might get BC2 for PC. MK vs DC wasn't all that great, beat it a lil over an hour. Nice graphics but the people are still to stiff looking.

I've had my PS3 for almost 6 months now, and I have to say the Uncharted series are really good games.  I have also played and beat both of the Assassin's Creed games which are AMAZING.  I am currently playing Prototype, which is a decent game as well.  I really haven't tried any online games yet for it, but I think that the new MAG game looks pretty cool.

i had Prototype for PC loved the game. just was to easy to beat. I think I will pick up an FPS game so I can test the online play.

i know its a litle late, but FF13, badass... bc2, not as good as mw2... controls are too sluggish...

FF13 is pretty and boring, and I've only played it on PC, but BC2 is amazing.
