Thoes were great suggestions guys, but my problem is still happening

idk what it is...i ahve to alunch the game like 8 times before it starts lol...thanks for the help guys

I get that problem when my video card drivers get all fucked up. TF2 screws them up for CS:S. When I try to play CS:S after a long play with TF2 the game starts the just shuts down. Alot of the steam games rely heavily on the video drivers so I would check them out.

Download driver cleaner pro
install driver cleaner
download video drivers
uninstall video drivers
restart in safe mode
run driver cleaner
select video card to clean
restart normal
reinstall drivers

usually works for all video errors
