why does iTunes not work on Win XP 64 bit?

The itunes download page does not recognize that XP can be 64 bit, only Vista, so it gives you the 32 bit link

Like I have told you before smurf, Companies are not developing for XP 64bit cause it is a piece of trash OS.  The support for it sucks.  If you want to run 64bit use Vista.

Smurf, I tried songbird before. It fuxored my pc with spyware. Memory usage went up and it would start on it's own. I caught it in the task manager. It's hard to get rid of too...

Well, I completely removed the program and cleaned up the registry and I found nothing suspicious. Nothing in my Task Manager or services that indicated anything was wrong.

Guess I still need a replacement app...and a video converter.
