Title: Crossis's Custom Realism Pack V2
Post by: Crossis on May 29, 2007, 06:59:58 PM
This is my 2nd custom realism pack. It's an expansion of the first one. While some of the sounds/models are the same the majority have been replaced with newer and better ones. The following is a list (may not be complete) of things this pack will replace

-Weapon Models
-Weapon Animations
-All sounds
-Explosions
-Bullet Casings
-Ragdoll Physics
-Blood
-Decals
-Player Models

And much more

In order to install it place all of the files within "CCR Pack" into your

X:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\username\counter-strike source\cstrike

**DISCLAIMER** I did not create ANYTHING within this pack nor am I attempting to take credit. I merely compiled various works I have found.

dont extract "CCR PACK" to the cstrike folder. Open up CCR Pack and move all the folders thats inside there (materials, sound, etc) to the cstrike folder. should work. let me know if it doesnt.

If you want to go back to defaults, delete models, sound, materials ect.. folders in the cstrike folder.
Then follow instructions below to restore defaults.

1: Load steam
2: Click on "My Games" tab
3: Right click on the game you want to verify and select properties
4: Select "Local files" tab
5: Click "Verify integrity of game cache" button

Next time you run the game the files and folders will be extracted from the cache and be recreated.

well i downloaded it before and messed up installing it with the way the weapons look.  so i re-did it.  I really didn't like the way they look so i took em out.  but when i messed up installing it before my scope for the awp and scout were a square i really like it... don't know what i did, but they are different now.  where could i go download a different scope?  and what would i have to do to replace it?

I can no longer get into the DM server because it says the server is enforcing sniper rifle models.

Hey crossis, I have a question?
Did u do this by yourself?
It seems like its a lot of work, right?

I didn't create any of the models or anything inside the pack. All I did was compile everything and put it into one download =D. took a while but nowhere near the amount of time it took to actually create the contents

so ive never actually changed anything on cs source as of yet what exactly will this do if i install this. what i mean is does it just change the model's skins or does it help improve the game in some small way

well it helped me.  Its all mental though.  What made me better were the sounds.  It sounds weird, but its true.  CAn't tell you why, just helped me.  This does not give you an advantage over another person, but based on how you interpret the sounds and such, it can help you.  but there is nothing here that will actually make u better if you play the same way.

Sorry to bring back an old topic, but does anyone still have the sounds for this?  I tried to download it again but its not there anymore.  Used to have the sounds, and I liked them, but got a new HD, so I want to try to get them back.  Thanks.

hey.... hate to boost an old topic again but....

wonder i know you asked me in game and I said i didn't have them. Turns out for some reason I actually made a hard copy of the pack onto a CD i found buried on my desk when I went to clean it the other day. if you have a recommendation of somewhere I can upload the sounds i'll throw them back up for you.

How big is the file?  Cause if its not that big, you might be able to zip em up and attach them to a post.

Thanks alot man.
