Holy shit, the Newegg one has 8 gigs of RAM!


They look good except for
1) Vista 64 has many problems and incompatibilities
2) They both have integrated graphics. (No independent card)

If I had to choose, I'd pick the one on Newegg. $760 for that isn't too bad.

not sure how good you are at computers, but it would be better to buy the parts and put it together yourself.  Otherwise I would lean towards the Newegg one as well.

As for Vista having issues, I have had no issues with gaming on it at all.

im shitty with computers as far as hardware goes... my brother assembled my last 2 rigs, and hes stationed in japan now... so im fucked... i gotta buy one

It's probably decent but it is a couple generations behind..I would suggest upgrading the vid card for sure and go with Nvidia. Even though your brother built your other rig I'm sure you can upgrade the vid card without any problems, especially with our help  :-D

Out of those the 9800 1gb is the best...I dont see how it's that cheap though LOL whats your budget? Like Video said, if we know what you want to spend we can find you the best bang for the buck.
