Just got my Arial Drop for my cable replaced. They ran RG 11 all the way from the Head End box down the road to my house bout an 1/8 of a mile with no connections. RG 11 is about the size of your pinky finger in case your not familiar with it. I just did a speed test and posted it below

Compared to the average of 3617 tests from comcast.net:
* download is 301% better, upload is 68% better
