Error Verifying STEAM UserID Ticket.

I keep getting that error message.  I've restarted steam and still get this error message.  Any ideas?

was happening to me, tritt and a few others the other night. I tried logging out and back in. I delete that .blob file to force it to update. I verified the integrity of the files. I even rebooted my modem and router. I thinks its a problem with steam and you'll just have to wait it out.

Try searching on steams forums.  They have a huge thread dedicated to this problem.  It can be a few things, but search around on there.  You will find alot.
